MYRTE Platform

Mission for the Integration of Renewable Hydrogen into the Electrical
Mission hYdrogène Renouvelable pour l’inTégration au réseau Electrique

The MYRTE Platform reflects the commitment of three partners: the University of Corsica (Université de Corse) Pasquale Paoli associated with the CNRS, HELION/AREVA, and the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Agency (Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives). It combines solar energy with a hydrogen chain used as energy carrier to store renewable energies. The objective is to deploy photovoltaic energy through hydrogen to guarantee renewable energy power.
This project is supported by the Corsican regional authorities (Collectivité Territoriale de Corse), the French Government and Europe. This platform is certified by the cluster CAPENERGIES (Pôle de Compétitivité CAPENERGIES) and is a structuring project of the latter.
The MYRTE platform is located in Ajaccio, Corsica, in the Georges Peri Scientific Research Centre, University of Corsica.
